The 4th of March saw us tragically lose Keith Flint, the English vocalist, dancer and motorcycle racer, best known for his work with the electronic music group, The Prodigy .

Specifically, Keith was found dead at his home in North End, Essex, and after an inquest was launched and a post-mortem carried out, officials found the 49-year-old’s provisional cause of death was hanging. Furthermore, after “police attended, all protocols were followed and his death was confirmed as not suspicious,” said Coroner’s officer Lynsey Chaffe.

Keith Flint, who was born in Braintree, rose to fame after becoming the frontman for The Prodigy, a group who went on to secure themselves as one of the most influential electronic groups of our time, bagging themselves a BRIT, 6 MTV awards, 3 MTV accolades and many more.

Just two days before his body was found, Flint took part in a 5km Parkrun in Chelmsford, achieving a personal best time of 21 minutes and 22 seconds. Rest in peace.
